The University of Miami Medical Campus severely lacks an end node to signify where the campus terminates and where the city begins. Furthermore, in a medical hub, very few housing facilities exist nearby. This project aimed to not only create and terminus to the medical campus but add over 2.5 million square feet of medical research and education labs to catapult the University of Miami to becoming a top tier medical research university. Alongside the facilities were long and short term housing facilities for students as well as for patients, and their families, receiving care at any one of the many hospitals nearby.
